Sanity is a developer-favourite headless CMS known for its real-time collaborative editing (Sanity Studio), GROQ query language, and extraordinarily flexible content model. Indexa integrates with Sanity's Mutations API to publish AI content to any document type in your dataset, respecting your schema perfectly.

How it works

    Create a Sanity API token in sanity.io/manage with Editor permissions on the target dataset.

    Paste the project ID, dataset name, and API token into Indexa; then map your Sanity blog document type's schema fields.

    Indexa sends NDJSON mutations to Sanity's HTTP API to create and patch documents on schedule — content appears in Sanity Studio instantly.

Yes. Each Indexa integration targets a specific Sanity project + dataset combination. Create multiple integrations in Indexa for different datasets (e.g., staging and production).

Does Indexa use Sanity's GROQ or Mutations API?▾

Indexa uses Sanity's Mutations API (POST to `/v2021-06-07/data/mutate/{dataset}`) for creating and updating documents. GROQ is used internally for discovery queries during setup.

Will Indexa-published content appear in Sanity Studio?▾

Yes. Documents created by Indexa appear immediately in Sanity Studio. Your team can review, edit, and publish drafts from Studio as normal.
