Webflow combines a visual design tool with a powerful CMS and hosting platform. Its CMS Collections feature and Data API make it ideal for content-driven sites. Indexa uses the Webflow Data API to auto-publish AI articles to any CMS Collection, including your blog, directly from the Indexa dashboard.

How it works

    Generate a Webflow API v2 token from Account Settings → API Access and paste it into Indexa.

    Select your Webflow site and the CMS Collection that represents your blog posts in Indexa.

    Indexa maps article fields to Collection fields (Name, Slug, Post Body, Meta Title, Meta Description) and publishes on schedule.

Does Indexa work with Webflow's new Data API v2?▾

Yes. Indexa uses the Webflow Data API v2 (released 2024) which offers improved rate limits, richer field support, and more reliable publishing compared to v1.

Can Indexa trigger a Webflow site publish?▾

Yes. After creating a CMS item, Indexa can optionally call the Webflow publish API to push live immediately. You configure this behaviour in Indexa's Webflow settings.

What Webflow field types does Indexa support?▾

Indexa supports Plain Text, Rich Text, Slug, Image (via URL), Color, Switch, Number, and Option fields. Reference and Multi-Reference fields are in beta.

Does Indexa work on Webflow's free plan?▾

Webflow's free plan has very limited CMS capacity and API rate limits. We recommend at least the Basic CMS plan for production use with Indexa.
